DAY 1 OF JUICE FEAST

Good morning,

Ok, the family reunion was absolutely great. I love getting together with everyone as we always have so much fun. I ate like a pig, I did not give raw, fasting or any other form of diet a second thought last weekend. Totaaly forgot about blogging, My Bad LOL!


But this morning it is down to business. I juiced 64 oz of Romaine, Apple and Celery juice to take with me to work this morning. I also have 2 bananas that I will use to make a smoothie with water, ice, powdered wheatgrass & Awaken Match (both jacked from my sis), spiralina, vitamin C and Super Green powder. Basically in 0ne glass I get every nutrient that I need for the day.


Plan to dust off one of my exercise dvds tonight. I have several 10 minute workout dvds and plan to do 2 at night before bed and 2 in the morning (have to wake up at 5 am UUUUUGH!).


Asked several cousins to keep up with my blog and support me in this. I am hoping that the knowledge that others are reading this will keep me honest. I will be in Detroit for Labor Day, my dad's side of the family is having a First Cousin's Reunion, should be fun. Hopefully there will be a big difference by then. I will look for a before photo to add to this blog, so not looking forward to it, hate the way that I look so I totally hate taking photos but I need to make it part of my process. I will have to go shopping as I do not have enought apples and oranges to last the week. I keep two medium styrofoam coolers in my kitchen one for apples and one for oranges since these will be the staples of this feast.

My Juices for Today


Banana Smoothie (1 lg banana, tsp each of Spirilina, Awaken Matcha, Wheatgrass, Raw Agave (love this stuff), water and Ice blended. Great


Cup of Wu-Long Tea with lemon (bottled, this will be pretty much the only non raw item that I use)

Apple Celery and Romaine Juice w/ Powdered Greens

Banana blended with water, Ice and powdered vitamin C

Lot's of Water

*** Messed up Drama...Drama... Drama = FAMILY DRAMA. I was starving when I got home and totally stressed out with family issues. I ate Fried Chicken 3 pieces. I am so disgusted with myself. I really need to work on my discipline. Hopefully I will not gain a lot over this. Oh well will see tomorrow.

DAY 3

Good morning

Ok Wt. 168

Slipped up and ate a bag of Flaming Hot Potato Chips at 2 am. Woke up with a serious salt craving.

Made aother 64 oz. of Carrot & Apple Juice for Work. I am flying out tonight to Miami for our Family Reunion, looking forward to it. I need to remember to download a couple of movies from Itunes before I leave. I absolutely hate long flights, the being stuck in one chair for hours. I plan to start with the Bloody Marys as soon as I am settled in my seat, so I can pass out until the next morning. I have always had a problem sleeping on planes. I am taking my MacBook with so I will still be able to blog but I will not be able to post my weight until Monday 7/8.

DAY 2




Good morning,


Ok,


Wt. 169 lbs.


I had cravings last night so instead of eating something bad, I grabbed a handful of raw almonds. They definitely DID NOT do the trick, so I just suffered. I guess if I continue to eat them I will grow to love them. My sister loves raw almonds, so not my favorite food. But then again I love fresh fruit but I love Gelato more, So I definitely have a lot of work to do.

Made 64 oz of Carrot and Apple Juice and 1 1/2 pints of Fresh OJ to take to work today. Will try my hardest to just stick with the juices today. This is going to be so very hard. I am trying to change 45 years of eating habits, grrrrrrr!! But this is the only way that I will ever be able to get my fabulousness back LOL!


What I ate today

Raw Orange Julius (Banana, OJ, Green Powder, Spirilina, Ice & Water)

Drank all 64 oz of Carrot & Apple Juice

There is really no comparison between fresh and store bought juices (including the ones that list 100% Juice) Fresh Apple Juice is delicious, it is sooooo much sweeter than store bought. I have decided to just use Organic Green Powder in place of Fresh Greens as the amount that I would need would take up entirely too much room in my new fridge as it is somewhat smaller than my old. Other than that all will be fresh, maybe not all organic (much much too pricey). Next Saturday I plan to take a trip downtown to get a case or two of Thai Coconuts, the water is amazing.


Really looking forward to this weekend with my family, love them so much, this year I am seeing them more than usual, which is great. I absolutely love my independence which I do not feel that I could really have if I were living near them. But I really miss them especially on holidays. So this year is a treat.


***By the way my sister and niece are reading this, so I made sure that I made this entry extra mushy!!!

Yes today I am "AMAZING RAW WOMAN" Since I'm 45 it would be a little silly to refer to myself as a girl LOL!!!!

DAY 1

Ok,

Got on the scale and almost cried,

I have to start exercising also. Will begin tonight with one of my 10 min. workouts


What I ate today,

Banana shake (1 Banana, water, 1 tbl Raw Agave, 1 tsp Green Powder, 1 tsp Spirilina & Ice)
2 Roots Nutrition caps
1 Boiled Egg ( I know not good)
1/2 Grilled Chicken Breast
Water water & more water

150 crunches on ab lounger
